A Scrutiny of Contemporary Public Administration

为了推动当代中国公共行政实践的健康发展,也为了深化学术界关于公共行政的理论研究,从理论上反思当代中国公共行政是必要的。这一反思的全部根据乃是:在二十一世纪之初的当代中国,基于政府与社会的矛盾发展,政府通过自身价值、模式与行为的调适,以实现我国公共行政改革的深化与发展。这一反思是理性的,它展开为反思的“理由”、“内容”与“方法论”三个层面。

In an effort to boost the healthy development of China＇ s public administration practice and the theoretical exploration into public administration, the author believes it essential to theoretically make reflections on China＇ s public administration. The rationale underlying is that in China at the threshold of the new millennium, the government deepens the public administration reform and development through the self-readjustment of its values, modes and behavior on the basis of the contradictions between government and society. The reflection is rational and developed into three parts-causes, content and methodology.
