Training the Ability of Cross Culture Communication and College English Teaching

语言是文化的载体,文化差异在语言上有着直接的体现。英语教学的根本目的就是要实现跨文化交际。正确认识培养跨文化交际能力的重要性,在大学英语日常教学中积极进行跨文化交际实践,培养学生恰当使用语言进行跨文化交际的能力,是每个外语教师面临的重要课题。

Language is the carrier of the culture. The differences between different cultures can directly reflect in different languages. The aim of English teaching is to achieve cross culture communication. Thus , it will be an important task for every English teacher to have a correct understanding the significance of training students＇ ability of cross culture communication, and take an active part in the cross culture communication practice in daily college English teaching.
