The Effect of Photocrosslinking on the Gel Content of Polyethylene

摘要 用安息香二甲醚和三(丙烯酰氧乙基)异氰尿酸酯(TAEIC)作为PE的光敏剂和助交联剂,研究了它们的用量、光照时间、交联温度,紫外光光强对PE交联度的影响。结果表明,安息香二甲醚是一种有效的光敏剂,引发效率较高;助交联剂可以提高交联效率;光照时间、紫外光光强和交联温度等对PE的交联度均有明显的影响。 High density polyethylene has been photo-crosslinked in the molten state by using benzoin dimethyl ether as photoinitiator and trisacryloyloxyethyl isocyanurate (TAEIC) as crosslinking agent . Several factors affecting the crosslinking process , such as dosage of the photoinitiator and crosslinking agent , irradiation temperature and time , and UV light intensity have been examined. It has been found that benzoin dimethyl ether is a very good photoinitiator with high initiation efficiency and the TAEIC can greatly improve crosslinking efficiency . In addition , it has been verified that the irradiation time , UV light intensity and temperature have obvious effects on the degree of crosslinking of PE.
