本文较全面扼要地介绍了卟啉、金属卟啉的天然存在、结构、性质、合成、波谱等，并简述了它们在化学、生物学。
The occurrence, structure, properties, syntheses and spectroscopy of porphyrins and metalloporphyrins were summarized. Their applications in chemistry, biology, medicine and some other fields were dealt with as well.
