An Electronic Resources Collection Development Policy for Public Libraries: A Case Study of Shenzhen Library

本文试以深圳图书馆新馆资源建设为例,对公共图书馆电子资源馆藏发展政策所涉及的选购原则、选购途径和工具、选购程序和电子资源评价等方面做了探讨。同时对电子资源馆藏发展存在的二个主要问题做了分析,并就此提出了积极的建议。

This paper briefly explores an electronic resources collection development policy of public libraries in terms of its selection criteria, ways and tools of selection, selection decision - making porcess as well as evaluation, taking Shenzhen Library as an example. In the meantime,it analyses two main issues and offers positive suggestions for the electronic resources collection development.
