黑衣壮以黑为美、以黑作为穿着和族群的标记，是壮族的一个奇特支系。由于战争等原因，他们的祖先躲八深山老林，过着几乎与世隔绝的生活，从而保留了古老的民族文化。2006年4月，百色市那坡县吞力屯的黑衣壮民俗村迎来了一位贵客——泰国公主诗琳通。
The so-called ＂black-clothes Zhuang＂ is a particular group of the Zhuang ethnic minority who have a special affinity for the color black. They regard black as beauty, dressed in black and taking it as the symbol of their group. Owing to wars, they lived in forests and mountains for centuries before moving into the village, and have held on tenaciously to cultural and traditional practices. In April, 2006, Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn came to a village of ＂black-clothes Zhuang＂ in Base, South China＇s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region to experience, the original Chinese ethnic culture.
