In recent yearn, with the deepening of the urban system reform and the development of market economy, the poverty of urban residents in Heilongliang province emerges as a serious problem threatening economic development and social stability. The paper has analyzed the current situation and the reason of urban poverty in Heilongjiang province, as well as has offered the suggestion of alleviating urban poverty.
