自1978年社会学系恢复重建以来,社会分层研究就一直是社会学的一个重要研究领域。概而观之,学术界对社会分层的研究主要集中在社会分层的标准、阶层结构、阶层分化和中间阶层等四个方面。要使社会学的研究走向深入,就必须加强阶层研究的指导理论、中间阶层、社会分层与社会公平等方面的研究。
