Review of teaching of the sketch course in fine arts

20世纪80年代中期以来,速写课程一直不为各艺术院校所重视。速写是美术专业基础训练的重要科目之一,它不仅是锻炼造型能力、收集创作素材的重要手段,同时也是一门具有独立审美意味的艺术形式;画好速写,可以通过运用线条这种既古老又现代的造型语言,探索自己的表现风格,表达自己对客观世界的印象、认识、情绪、思想等。

Since the mid-1980s, the teaching of the sketch course has not been paid enough attention to by art schools. Sketch is one of the important subjects of basic training of fine arts; it is not only a vital means to train the sculpting ability and to gather source material, but also an artistic form with unique aesthetic value at the same time. To learn sketch well enables one to explore his various expressing styles through the age-long yet modem artistic language-lines, and to show affectionately his impression of the concrete world, his understanding, emotions and thoughts.
