提高农村中学英语教学水平的思考

社会生活的信息化和经济的全球化对英语教学提出了新的要求。然而,由于地域和经济发展水平的制约,偏远地区农村中学的英语教育尚不能适应新形势的要求。提高农村中学英语教学水平,要求广大教师加强学习,提高自身素质;设置语言环境,营造英语学习氛围;优化教学管理,提高教学实效;加强口语训练,倡导学以致用;注重因材施教,优化英语作业。

With the informationization of social life and the globalization of world economy, English teaching is meeting a new challenge. However, village middle schools in backward regions cannot satisfy this requirement owing to the restriction of their location and economy. The promotion of English teaching requires the teachers to further their study so as to enhance their own quality, create the environment of English studies, perfect administration to promote the efficiency of teaching, persevere with oral English training and advocate practical use, teach students according to their aptitude and refine their homework.
