乌托邦叙事在英国文学史和思想史上形成了一种特殊的传统,寄寓着人文主义时代以来英国作家和思想家对未来社会的美好幻想,恶托邦文学作品则表达了对乌托邦的否定或不信任精神,又是乌托邦叙事发展到一定阶段的必然产物和一种特殊形式。

Utopian narrative formed a special tradition in the history of English literature and the history of Englishideology. Since the epoch of humanism, it showed the glorious illusion of the English writers and ideologists about the future society. The dystopian literature works not only expressed the negation or the distrust of Utopia but also were the inevitableproduct and a special form of Utopian narrative that had developed to a special stage.
