摘要微观史学于20世纪70-80年代产生于意大利,并在法国、德国、美国等地得到普遍的回应,成为一股国际性史学潮流。其兴起受到吉尔茨文化人类学和福柯后现代主义思潮的重要影响,并同当代西方史学总体趋势转向中的新文化史运动有着紧密的关联,是其中的一个部分。微观史学具有一般宏观历史所没有的优势,并形成了独特的研究方法,但其微观化分析手段也受到了传统史家的许多批评和质疑。如何更好地结合微观和宏观的研究,将成为未来史学发展的趋势之一。 Micro-history was advocated first by a few Italian historians from the late 1970s to the early 1980s. It then became an international trend in history research. Now it is practiced widely in France, Germany, and the United States as well. Its rising was influenced by Geertz’s cultural anthropology and Foucault’s post-modernism. It also could be considered as a part of the main trend in contemporary western historiography, the rise of New Cultural History. Micro-history has its advantage to the old macro-analysis with its microscopic focus in observation. Nevertheless, some orthodox historians are criticizing its methodology. How to combine the microanalysis and macro-analysis is a new task on the agenda of historians.
