摘要
清末民初,川江轮船运输业开始兴起并迅速发展。由于轮船运输较传统的木船运输具有运量大、运速快、安全可靠等优势,因此新兴的轮船运输业极大地冲击了传统的木船运输业,尤其是对传统木船盐运业的冲击。尽管广大木船盐运户为维护自身利益作出了种种努力,甚至动用暴力阻止轮船运盐,但到1926年济楚川盐全部改用轮船运输,实现了济楚川盐运输的巨大变革,从而推动了川江航运的近代化。
During the period from the end of the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China, steamship transportation trade of Chuan Jiang began and was quickly developed. This kind of trade with its advantages such as large quantity of transportation, and quick speed on the safe side greatly impacted traditional boat transportation. Although many boat owners did various kinds of efforts even by force, till 1926, all Chuan salt was transported with steamship and it brought great change of Chan salt to Chu. It also impelled the modernization of Chuan Jiang shipment.
