萧红是一个觉醒而且叛逆的女性。她一生都在努力冲破传统文化束缚,追求女性自由、理想的生存空间,但传统的压力和女性悲剧的生存现状,以及自身的坎坷遭遇,使她的女性意识和传统观念互相矛盾、冲突,这种情感的纠葛呈现在她作为女儿、妻子、母亲的角色之中。

Xisohong is a waking and rebellious woman . She lives in the effort to break through shackles of the traditional culture, the pursuit of female freedom and ideal living space during her life. But because she is living in a tragic living situation and under the control of traditional pressure , in addition , her experience is full of frustration ,all above mentioned factors make her feminine consciousness and traditional concept conflict and contradict with each other , and all that has been shown in her works .
