Simultaneous determination of 4 phenolic compounds in different parts of Echinacea species

摘要 A method of High-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) coupled with photodiode-array detection(DAD)techniques was developed for the simultaneous determination of chlorogenic acid,caffeic acid,echinacoside and cichoric acid in the roots,stems,leaves,and flowers respectively from Echinacea samples(Echinacea pallida,E.angustifolia,and E.purpurea).The analyses were carried out on a Shiseido C18 column,with mobile phase gradient.Detection wavelength was set at 329nm.The recovery,precision,stability and linearity for different compounds were satisfactory.
