连续可变斜率增量调制（CVSD）是一种在卫星通信、移动通信和军事通信等领域应用非常广泛的语音信号波形编码方式。在对CVSD原理分析的基础上，利用Altera公司提供的DSP Builder设计工具，在FPGA器件上实现了CVSD译码器。

Continuously Variable Slope Delta Modulation （CVSD） is a kind of speech signal waveform coding method which is being applied extensively in satellite communication, mobile communication and military communication and so on. On the basis of principle analysis of continuous variable slope delta modulation, the CVSD decoder on FPGA devices is implemented with the DSP Builder provided by ALTERA.
