Where is the Capital of Ai Lao County

东汉所置哀牢县,位于何处,众说纷纭。有人认为在“腾冲、龙陵;”有人认为在“腾冲、德宏;”有人说是“猛卯”、“腾冲;”更有人说在“今腾冲、德宏、临沧一带”。通过史籍查证,认为东汉永平年间,显宗所置的哀牢县址,应在保山隆阳区永昌镇正阳北路南端“正阳北路信用社”附近。

There have been much account about the capital site of ancient Ai Lao County in Dong Han Dynasty （25---220 AD）. Much study of historical facts shows that it is in whereabouts of Zhengyang Beilu Xinyongshe at the southern end of Zhengyang Beilu, Yongchang Town, Longyang District, Baoshan.
