The article analyzes the translation multiple choice of item 61-64 in the paper of practical English test for college（level B）of Jiangxi provlnce,illustrates its reliability and validlty,and proposes that if translation multiple choice is changed into translation,the balance between reliability and validity of the paper will not be damaged,on the contrary, it will benefit the English practical ability of the students.
