摘要
传统的电刷镀镍技术以使用不溶性阳极(石墨)为特征,但存在镀液组成不稳定,导致镀层性能不断变化,使产品质量难以保证。对4种镀镍溶液(特殊镍、快镍、W atts镍、自补偿全光亮超快镍)的性能进行了分析、测试。结果表明:全光亮超快镍镀液具有自补偿特性,各项性能指标均高于常规的电刷镀镍溶液,是一种沉积速度快、镀厚能力强、镀层硬度高、施工方便、成本低廉的新型电刷镀镍溶液,特别适合刷镀超厚耐磨镀层。该技术已成功应用于超音速风洞表面的强化,并可替代传统的电刷镀镍技术进行设备维修或功能性表面处理。
Noticing the unsatisfactory stability of conventional electric brush plating bath operating with undissolvable graphite anode,a detailed comparative analysis was performed with respect to the characteristics of a newly developed self-replenishing bright nickel brush-plating solution and three other conventional nickel brush-plating solutions(pre-plating nickel,conventional brush-plating nickel,and Watts nickel).It was found that the newly developed self-replenishing bright nickel brush-plating solution was superior to the three conventional nickel brush-plating solutions in that the Ni^(2+)depleted during the plating process could be replenished from the dissolution of the activated nickel anode.At the same time,the newly developed self-replenishing bright nickel brush-plating solution had better depositing performance than the three conventional nickel brush-plating electrolytes.Namely,it was characterized by fast deposition speed,good deposition capability,easy operation,low cost, and high hardness of the deposited coating,and could be readily used to prepare thick antiwear coating.More interestingly,the newly developed self-replenishing bright nickel brush-plating process had been successfully applied in the surface modification of an ultrasonic aerodynamic designing equipment,indicating that it could have promising application as a replacement of conventional nickel brush-plating process in the maintenance of equipments and functional surface modification.
