In order to study the influences of different doses of vitamins K4 and D2 on early bone metabolism in menopausal woman fracture, 35 cases of menopausal woman fracture aged 60 to 84 years (72.17±1.216 years) were selected and randomly divided into four groups, which were given different doses of orally-taken vitamins K4 and D2 for 20 days; the influences of vitamins K4 and D2 on early bone metabolism in senile woman fracture were comprehensively evaluated through observing the pre- and post-administration changes of calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P), AKP and prothrombin time (PT) in the serum. The results showed that varied doses of vitamins K4 and D2 produced different influences on early bone metabolism in menopausal woman fracture with a statistical significance; the influence of vitamin K4 exceeded that of vitamin D with a significant difference dependent on varied doses but the influences of vitamin K4 and vitamin D2 on bone metabolism had no interaction, suggesting that vitamins K4 and D2 function to stimulate early bone metabolism in fracture and have a certain stimulating effect on fracture healing; and the effect of vitamin K is stronger than that of vitamin D.
