Because of the differences between English and Chinese cultures in faith, diet, geographical environment and some other aspects, proverbs, which agglomerate the cultural psychology and wisdom of the two peoples, consequentially reflect the difference. In order to translate English proverbs into Chinese exactly, different strategies should be used.
