和谐社会的建设,包括经济、政治、文化、社会等诸多要素。改革开放以来,我国在经济发展方面取得了巨大成就,但在社会发展方面却相对滞后,特别是近几年来东西差距、城乡差距、贫富差距进一步拉大,影响了社会主义和谐社会的建设。“十一五”规划就是为解决这些矛盾和问题在寻求答案。我们应按照“十一五”规划要求的新思路,抓住历史机遇,积极应对挑战,认真解决各种矛盾,促进社会主义和谐社会的建设。

Construction of harmonious sciety includes politics, economy, culture, society and so on many factors. Since the reform and open policy, our country has obtained huge achievements in economical development, but relatively lagged in racial development, especially the disparity between city and countryside and the gap between rich and poor rapidly enlarged in recent years which have affected the construction of socialism harmonious society. ＂Number 11 Five-years plan＂ is to seek the answer to these questions. We should defer to the new mentality of the plan, hold the historical opportunity, resolve each kind of contradiction earnestly and promote the construction of socialism harmonious society.
