明清社稷坛社稷区规划方法再探

Space design of Sheji forum of Ming and Qing dynasty

北京社稷坛依古礼采用了《匠人》中“左祖右社”的布局形式,古人为什么选择这样的布局?为何以“西”配“右”,使社稷坛处西?本文主要从历代的皇城规划、“社、祖”探源、社稷区规划位置、古人的方位观以及阴阳五行观念的影响作用等几个方面探讨“左祖右社”格局形成的原因以及“左”与“右”在中国古代文化中的象征意义。

The Sheji Forum of Beijing adopts the form of ＂zuo zu you she＂ and this kind of form has long history. This paper laid emphasis on the reason why the ancients choose such form. This form has been synthetically studied form the aspects of the architectural evolution, the way of layout, the directions view of the ancients, the design of space and so on. Furthermore, this paper also introduces the symbol meaning of ＂left＂ and ＂right＂ in Chinese ancient culture.
