On Fu Lei's Moral Education Outlook

《傅雷家书》中体现的傅雷德育观集中于他对德育地位、目的、任务、原则以及方式的主张。他认为,“做人第一”,德育应放在教育的首位;德育的目的在于“鼓励孩子培养自己”成为“德艺俱备、人格卓越”的人才,“以便对社会对人类有所贡献”;德育的任务应包括:进行人生观和马列主义教育、爱国主义教育、优良道德传统教育、道德行为习惯训练、道德情感培养和提高自我教育能力;德育应贯彻“及早教育”、“严格要求”、“联系社会生活”、“及时反馈”和“以身作则”的原则;熏陶是德育的最佳方式。

Fu Lei＇s outlook on moral education in his Letters Home focuses on the position, objectives, tasks, principles and approaches of moral education. He holds that conducting oneself is the most important and moral education should be put in the first place. The purpose of moral education is to encourage children to be outstanding citizens with morality and intelligence integrated so as to make contributions to both society and mankind. The tasks are to undertake educations on life outlook, Marxism and Leninism, patriotism, fine moral traditions and behavior and emotion trainings as well as the improvement of self--education. Moral education should be carried out as early as possible and be strict. It should be linked with real life and immediate feedbacks and examples should be offered. The best approach in moral education is by means of edifying and positive influence.
