摘要 PlanetLab的出现,为科研机构提供了用于开发下一代互联网技术的开放式全球性实验平台。为了评价PlanetLab实验平台本身的计算能力及网络性能,论文采用LLCBench集群测试工具,在CERNET建立的由若干PlanetLab节点组成的网络系统中进行了网络性能及计算能力等方面的综合测试,并根据测试结果对PlanetLab进行评价。测试结果表明PlanetLab网络实验系统网络性能较差,但本地区节点的浮点运算和高负载性较好。论文的工作为科研单位通过PlanetLab进行开发实验提供了有益的参考。 PlanetLab can supply an open global experiment platform to develop next generation internet technique for the research institutes.To measure its computing capability and network performance,we build a network system in CERNET.It is made up of some PlanetLab node.We do some general test work ,then we draw the conclusion from the result.It shows that the network performance of PlanetLab is not so good,but the float computing capability and load capability is good in local nodes.Our work can be the better reference to the research institutes.
