摘要
本研究运用美国语言学家Oxford所设计的语言学习策略分类问卷调查表(SILL)对广州医学院2005级和2004级在职研究生进行了问卷调查.结果发现,在职研究生在英语学习的过程中有意无意地使用了各种语言学习策略,特别是元认知策略,使用频率比较高;但对大多数语言学习策略的使用频率为中级,即只是偶然使用.本项研究结果表明,医学院校在外语教学过程中应加强对在职研究生进行语言学习策略方面的培训工作,使他们能够更加自觉地运用各种语言学习策略,从而有效地提高英语学习效率.
We carried out a survey of English learning strategies used by year 2004 and year 2005 in-service graduates at Guangzhou Medical College by means of Strategy Inventory for Language Learning, a questionnaire designed by American linguist R. Oxford. The results showed that the in-service graduates made use of various language learning strategies, cognitive strategy in particular, consciously or unconsciously in their study. But the frequency in the use of most language learning strategies was low. This research indicates that the training of in-service graduates in language learning strategies should be strengthened to enable them to use various language learning strategies more consciously and to improve their English learning efficiency.
