摘要
对26个医疗卫生、银行、保险公司、外贸公司等单位的240名人事管理人员和科技人员的英语听、说、读、写、译各项技能的使用机会、学习英语的主要用途、英语能力的满意程度、掌握英语能力的薄弱环节及需要提高的方面进行了调查,并且与大学英语教学的基本要求进行分析对比研究,目的是为大学英语教学改革提供参照,把英语教学工作搞好.
A survey was conducted among 240 administrative personnel and scientific and technical persormel working in medical institutions, banks, insurance companies and foreign trade companies on the use frequency of English listening, speaking, reading, writing and translation skills, the major purpose of learning English, their satisfaction with English proficiency, and the weak points of using English and aspects that need to be improved. The results were compared with the basic requirements of college English teaching in order to offer some suggestions on how to adapt college English teaching to the changed situations and how to reform English teaching.
