Research on Applying Cooperative Learning Strategies in English Teaching in Higher Vocational Education

摘要研究表明，在高职英语大班教学中开展小组合作学习，在一定程度上对提高英语课堂效率和学生语言运用能力的效果并不明显。但是，有效的合作学习有助于提高学生的英语应用能力，促使学生互相学习、互相帮助，体验集体荣誉感和成就感，培养自觉学习的习惯，因此如何有效实施合作学习策略是值得深入探讨的课题。 Investigation shows that taking small group cooperative learning in the big - class teaching of English is not quite effective to improve English learning efficiency and students＇ abilities of applying English. However, effective cooperative learning is kelpful to enhance students＇ English application abilities and encourage students to learn from each other and help each other, experience the sense of honor and achievement, cultivate selfconscious learning habits. Thus, how to make cooperative learning more effectively is a topic needed to be discussed deeply.
