摘要 外语教学和文化因素是密切相关的。语言绝不是一套符号系统,脱离了一定的社会文化体系,语言符号体系则无法被定位或使用。外语教学只有让学生置身于有关的文化背景下,才能使学生充分理解和掌握这个文化的语言。社会文化对语言影响的深远意义及处理好语言和文化的关系是外语教学的一个重要组成部分。 In recent years, there is much mushroom for research and discussion about foreign language and culture, foreign language teaching and culture education. There is close relationship between foreign language teaching and cultural factors. Language is not a set of symbol system. The system of Linguistic symbol can't be oriented and used if it breaks away from social and cultural system. Only when students are involved in cultural backgrounds in foreign language teaching, can they understand and have a good command of the language of the target culture. Society and culture have a profound influence on language and it is an important part to cope with the relations between language and culture in foreign language teaching.
