Invented in Tang Dynasty, China＇s printing of engravings became prosperous in Song Dynasty and then developed into a relatively independent industry. This industry has exerted extensive influences on China＇s literature development. First, various means of publication became easily accessible to writers and scholars who had wished to spread the prints of their works. Second, Many classical works in previous dynasties were published in large volumes. Third, the evolution process of China＇s literature writing styles has been greatly impacted by this industry. Finally, important literature schools of thought usually formed in close relationshios with the publication of their general collections of works.
