基于移动客户端的三维产品展示与定制

摘要 本文提出了一种允许工程师及其他人员通过具有无线网络功能的PDA设备查看并定制3维产品的方法以及其软件实现。随着无线通讯技术的发展,手持电脑可以轻易的连接到网络上。手持设备本身硬件导致的运算能力不足可以通过 client-server模型解决。该模型将复杂的计算工作转移到服务器端进行,而将结果传回到PDA设备上,这里使用特殊的 HSF格式从服务器端向客户端发送产品数据。采用本文开发的系统,无论在哪里,使用者都可以欣赏并定制自己喜欢的 3D产品。 This paper presents a method and its software implementation which enables engineers and other people to view and interact with 3D CAD files using wireless phone connection with a PDA device. With the growing of wireless techniques, PDA devices can easily connect to the Internet. The problem of insufficient computing power caused by the limited hardware on the PDA devices can be solved by the client-server mode, which performs complex computation on the workstation, and transmit the result to the PDA devices. Here, we transmit product data in the compressed HSF format from the server workstation to the PDA device, one can visualize and customize his favorite 3D product wherever he is.
