Developing the powerful interests plays an important role in physical chemistry teaching. There are five key elements to cultivate the interests, which are the clear explanation of terms, the introduction of the scientific prosperity, the historic background as well as the application in practice, and the timely praise with sincerity. These teaching strategies facilitate the effective learning in the subject.
