A Preliminary Study on the Biology and Control of Alcidodes juglans Chao in Guizhou

摘要 核桃长足象(Alcidodes juglans Chao)在贵州1年1代,成虫在树皮粗缝、草丛、土壤表层越冬。第二年4月中旬开始上树补充营养、交配、产卵,5月上旬为产卵盛期。6月中下旬始见羽化成虫,11月初成虫越冬。4月底喷施乐果、大功臣2次,保果效果达72.7%,11月喷施白僵菌,保果效果62.0%,长期施用白僵菌可控制该虫的危害。 Aleidodes juglans Chao has one generation per year in Guizhou province and overwinters in adult stage in bark crevices, hassock and upper soil layer. In April, the adult begin to feed on the plants for supplement nutrient, then copulate and oviposit. The peak of oviposition is in the early May, and the adult begins to emerge in the end of June. In the early of November it begins to overwinter in the adult stage. When applied omethoate and DAGONGCHEN two times in the end of April, the fruit-preserving effect was up to 72.7%, and when applied white muscardine in November the effect was up to 62.0%. The application of white muscardine has a sustainable effect for the control of this pest.
