By analyzing the Russian populist＇s view of individual socialism, this paper demonstrates that individual socialism originated from the particular oriental village commune and the concept of sobornost and the blend of the western liberalism. Its theory emphasized on the harmoniousness and the development between the individual arid the socialist collective.
