两宋移民与镇江

Immigrants in the Dynasties of South Song and North Song and Zhenjiang

宋代人口迁移成为常见现象,不少文人学士、达官显宦就择居于镇江。北宋末金兵南侵, 中州及两淮百姓纷纷避难过江,出现历史上第三次大规模的移民浪潮。镇江是长江下游流人过江落脚的第一站,滞居或择居于此的很多。移民大量涌入,在经济、文化、教育及风俗习尚等方面再一次给镇江地区带来深远影响。

Population shift is a common phenomenon in the Dynasty of Song. Numerous famous scholars and officials chose to settle in Zhenjiang. Towards the end of the Dynasty of Song when warriors of Jin marched southwards, people in the center of the country and on either side of the Huan River crossed the Yangze River for refuge, thus appeared the third wave of immigrants. Zhenjiang is the first stopping place at the lower reach of the Yangze River, so many people chose to live here. These immigrants had a great influence on the economy, culture, education and customs of Zhenjiang.
