通过考释《余公亭碑记》内容,结合当时的社会历史背景、碑石遗存及文献资料,对民间流传的余绍赓“遇害”多种说法进行辨析探讨,从中看到了王维舟将军鲜为人知的早期革命活动,揭示了刘存厚在川东的反动统治。

Through investigation into the content of Master Yu Pavilion＇ s Inscription, combined with social and cultural context at that time and stone remains and documents concerned, this paper discusses and differentiates several widespread narrations about Yu Shaogang＇ s ＂being murdered＂ among the mass. Among the analysis General Wang Weizhou＇ s earlier revolutionary activities is shown clearly though rarely known and Liu Chunhou＇ s reactionary dominance in the east of Sichuan is also revealed.
