There is an ethnic group called “Ahoms” living in the Assam State in northeast India. It has been proved that they are Thai immigrants from Yunnan, China. The Ahoms once built a kingdom that had lasted for 600 years. This article inquires into the political system and its characteristics of the Ahom kingdom.
