摘要
在大学英语教学中,写作能力的培养与考核日益受到重视。本文首先引述测试学理论对写作能力的要求,然后对一份全校使用的全国大学英语六级考试卷进行统计分析。通过与测试要求标准的对照,调查宁夏非英语专业研究生的写作能力状况,以便从中了解学生的水平与差距,以利于教学。
To investigate the writing ability of the non-English major postgraduates in Ningxia University, the author analyzed one sample of CET-6 test with reference to the associated testing criteria. A statistical review of the score characteristics is followed by discussion of aspects such as normal distribution, central tendency, dispersion, inter-correlation between writing score and total score. Content coverance and writing skills tested, with a view to drawing attention of English language teachers to strengths and weaknesses of the writing ability of the subjects, We hope that corresponding measures can be adopted to improve teaching quality.
