The Origin and Ending of Serfdom with Religious Authority——An Economic Account of the System and ＂Religion Operation＂

中国藏区目前推进的现代化和经济标准存在两点值得考量之处:一是学理上的扬本抑佛和华夏本位倾向,可能导致藏文化特质的削弱乃至失落;二是指导思想和政策安排上的国家主义,可能导致藏区发展内源动力的抑制乃至缺失。透过对传统藏区的宗教经济分析,我们认为,将“宗教经营”引入现代藏区的建设,当可裨益中国藏区现有发展理路之不足。

Two points deserve attention in the course of pushing modernization and economic standards in the Tibetan area. One is that Han culture - centered orientation repressions of the native Ben cultism are likely to lead to weakness or even loss of the features of the Tibetan culture. The other point is that the guiding ideas and nationalism revealed in policy are likely to bring about repression and even loss of the internal engine of development in the areas. With a religious and economic discussion of Tibet, the author of paper reaches the conclusion that introduction of ＂religion operation＂ into the development of the Tibetan areas will be a helpful supplement to the inadequate theory on Tibetan development.
