近百年来中国侨批业研究综述

A Historiographical Review of the Overseas Chinese's Remittances in the 20th Century

本文从民国时期、1949—1979年和20世纪80年代后三个时期,回顾近百年来国内外有关中国侨批业的研究。作者认为,已有的侨批业研究选题不够宽泛,具体领域的研究不平衡,研究理论有所欠缺。作者指出,未来的侨批业研究应从资料收集、研究领域和研究理论等方面着手,拓宽和加深相关研究。

This paper gives a comprehensive review of researches on the industry of overseas Chinese＇s remittances during recent 100 years, covering both the Republican period and the People＇s Republican period. The author points out the weakness in the present study, e. g., the narrow scope of the research, a state of imbalance between different specific topics, and the lack of theoretical approach, therefore, the future research should focus on data collection, scope-extension and theory-formulation.
