Waves of the Erqisi River——Commentary on Kazak poets Mahaz and Dutan

出生于新疆布尔津县的玛哈孜和杜坦是两位哈萨克当代著名诗人,他们用自己的精美诗作热情讴歌伟大的祖国伟大的党,赞美壮丽的阿勒泰草原和壮阔的额尔齐斯河,深情地颂扬各民族的大团结。在经历了许多磨难之后,他们的意志并未消沉,而是继续热烈地拥抱新的时代,坚信“青春虽然过去,希望却永远长青”。他们的诗歌情感真挚奔放,形象十分鲜明,具有独特的艺术魅力。

Mahaz and Dutan are famous modem Kazak poets from Burjing county of Xinjiang. These two poets eulogize our great hometown and the Party, the beautiful Altal grasslands and the vast Erqisi River, and the unity of all ethnic groups. Although undergoing all kinds of hardships, they are still active and warmly embrace the new times. They believe the youth past, but the hope will be forever. Their poems are famous for their sincere feeling, distinctive images and special charm.
