公共图书馆应为不同层次、不同种族、不同年龄的社会公众提供平等的服务。对农民工这样的弱势群体,公共图书馆应该为他们提供诸如信息咨询服务、技能培训服务、法律培训服务等等,引导城市居民改变对农民工的歧视,促进农民工适应和融入城市社会生活的步伐。

The author suggests that public libraries should provide fair multi-level services to the people. A disadvantaged group such as peasant workers, attentions should be paid to by providing information consultancy service, technique training and law knowledge training.
