摘要
滑坡数据库的发展是随着数据库技术的发展而前进的,2000年之前的国内滑坡数据库主要以单机版个人应用为主,存在着诸多缺陷,无法满足现代网络环境下的多人应用需求,维护困难。而按分布式计算概念建立起来的主从结构(服务器/客户机)的数据库,可实现数据与程序相分离,从而方便做到数据的集中存储,统一备份和容灾,使数据的安全性和可使用性都向前迈进了一大步;使应用与用户更加贴近,为用户提供更好的性能和更友好的界面;并可实现对大量滑坡研究文献与论文的查询与调用,以及对滑坡图形、图像的显示与查询,使得设计与维护更加方便,大量计算分布在客户端,减轻服务器端负荷。
Before year 2000, most landslide databases in China were mainly founded for single person use. These databases do not fit for multi-user condition and difficult to maintain and update, wasted computer and network resources. The Client/Server mode fit intranet~ internet condition. Followed this theory, and supported by new database software, a new landslide database was founded. This database can display landslide drawings and charts, and can make statistic as user want, also it can give a preview of landslide disaster's spread in a given map, and it can alleviate the server's burden on calculating and data storing.
