Establishment of the embedded system design based on Linux

嵌入式系统的开发与研究已成为当前的一个热点,L inux由于其独有的优势而成为很多厂家开发嵌入式应用的系统,而ARM作为一种高性能、低成本的嵌入式R ISC微处理器,已成为应用最广泛的嵌入式处理器.本文介绍了ARM处理器和L inux操作系统的特点,并结合系统核心是32位ARM920T处理器S3C2410开发板对整个开发过程,包括硬件结构、开发环境及开发工具进行了分析,特别是对交叉编译环境和L inux内核编译与移植进行了重点分析.

Research and development on the embedded system has become a current hot spot, and owing to Linux＇s advantage as a kind of OS in designing the embedded application, it becomes a selection by a few of companies. As a highcapability and low cost RISC mictoprocessor, ARM has already become the most comprehensive embedded processor. This paper introduces the ARM processor and the Linux OS. Combining with the S3C2410 that a designation panel with the 32 bit ARM920T processor, the complete process is analyzed, including hardware architecture, development environment and tools. In particular , the crossing compiled environment and the transplantation of Linux are emphatically analyzed.
