论政府的公共性与图书馆职能的定位

图书馆服务是一种无形产品和社会公共产品,政府应给予投资,并在进行投资时,注重其社会效益。我国公共图书馆建设取得很大成绩,但存在投入不足等问题,政府加强对公共图书馆的建设,既增加供给,又可扩大需求。

Library service is a public-serving product, which is intangible and sponsored by the government. Social benefit should be put attention to during the investment. Though our pubhc library construction has achieved much success, the investment is not enough. The government should strengthen the construction to provide more service as well as expand the inquiry.
