摘要
随着硬件技术及网络技术的飞速发展,基于网络的VRML技术的日趋成熟,通过浏览器,读者就可以观赏到由VRML创建的三维虚拟现实,而不再是二维的平面图形或图像,这样对于读者的索取参考资料将更直观,特别是关于艺术、化学、建筑等课程对三维立体感的要求相当的高,如果我们创建一个基于VRML的虚拟教学参考阅览室将会使读者由传统的二维教学资料的索取,迈向更直观的三维资料的索取。
Along with the hardware and network technology's rapid development and the maturity of network VRML, the reader may have the opportunity to view the three dimensional virtual reality which is constructed by VRML rather than two-dimensional plane figure or the image. As a consequence, searching for the reference will become more convenient for the reader, especially to such subjects as art, chemistry, architecture etc. that demand high three-dimensional stereoscopic effect. If a hypothesized teaching reference room based on the VRML is established, the reader will step from traditional two-dimensional teaching material searching to more direct-viewing three-dimensional material searching.
