十六大以来,我们党明确提出了“党的先进性建设”科学命题和重要任务,科学阐明了党的先进性建设的根本目的、主要任务、原则要求和检验标准等,探索实施了一系列合乎党情国情的加强先进性建设的新方法、新措施,为全面推进新时期党的建设伟大工程进一步指明了方向和前途。

Since the 16th National Congress,Central Committee of the CPC has definitely put forward a scientific proposition of 'progressiveness construction of the Party' as an important task.After scientifically clarifying its ultimate target,major tasks,principles and standards,the Party gropes for implementing a series of new methods and new measures suiting the real situation of China to strengthen the construction of the Party's progressiveness, which will demonstrate the direction and future for comprehensively advancing the great cause of party building in new period.
