PTCA Wire-Assisted Retrograde Endotracheal Intubation in Mice

目的探索改进小动物气管插管的方法。方法40只C57BL/6小鼠,PTCA导丝经气管逆行至口腔,引导气管插管。结果40只小鼠成功行气管插管,未出现严重并发症。结论PTCA导丝逆行引导气管插管简单,有效,创伤小。

Objective To establish a new method of endotracheal iutubation in small animals. Methods Fourty C57BL/ 6 mice were included in this experiment. A wire of percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty （PTCA） was retrogradely inserted into the trachea and pushed into the oral cavity. Guided by the PTCA wire, a tracheal cannula was advanced into the trachea. Results Endotracheal intubation succeeded in all mice without severe complications. Conclusion APTCA wire-guided endotracheal intubation technique in mice has been established. This method is simple, safe, effective and with only mild damages in comparison with other existing tracheal intubation procedures.
