The socialist idea of honors and disgraces - Eight Honors and Eight Disgraces - not only inherits our excellent cultural tradition, but also embodies socialist virtues. Harmony can be created only by being aware of honors and disgraces, and virtues can be built only by correcting mistakes. It is good to the future to carry forward healthy trends, and effect can be made only by enhancing implementation. We should keep the general goal in sight while taking hold of the daily tasks. We can change thoroughly the moral conduct of government officials and the general mood of the people, if we start with cultivating the habits, educating the common mood and forming the tradition as well.
