摘要
本文介绍了碳化硼陶瓷的优越性能和轴承外套的制作加工,通过对比金刚石等三种磨具的抗磨性,得出金刚石砂轮作为加工碳化硼轴承外套的磨具。设计专用装卡胎具保证加工精度,根据加工需要的磨床选用相应规格的金刚石砂轮,利用三种规格金刚石砂轮,按照端面粗加工、外圆粗加工、内孔精加工、外圆精加工、端面精加工的新加工工艺,得到了完全符合尺寸精度要求的轴承外套,填补了碳化硼陶瓷在轴承领域应用的空白。
This paper introduced the good properties of boron carbide ceramics (BCC) and the producing process of the outer jacket of the bearing made of Bcc. Special chucking device was designed for workpiece to guarantee the machining tolerance. By using three specifications of wheels ,. and based on the new producing process, namely rough grinding on the two ends and outer surface of the bearing, fine grinding inside the core,the machining precision required by the customers is completely satisfied.
